The page is tagged as part of the Triple-i Initiative Showcase 2026 and notes it was made with Unity. The most recent trailer published is the Release Date Reveal Trailer, and the store page carries an in-game screenshot layout typical of a single-region showcase build.

There is a live countdown rather than a purchase button at present, which is why no user reviews exist yet. Everything about the listing points to a date that has already been locked rather than one still being moved.

Steam features and controller support

The Steam feature list is short and specific, which suits a game that has deliberately limited platform ambitions. Steam achievements, Steam Cloud, statistics tracking and family sharing are all listed.

Controller support is the notable item, and it is the fullest category on the page. Full controller support is confirmed, with both Xbox and PlayStation controllers named, and the developers explicitly suggest playing with a gamepad. That recommendation is unusual to see stated so plainly on a store page.

Online play is supported for up to four players in co-op, and crossplay is confirmed across PC and console. Crossplay was confirmed directly by a developer on March 15, 2026 in the Steam community discussions. Local multiplayer is not planned, stated twice by the developers, most recently on June 27, 2025.

Cloud saves run through Steam Cloud, with Xbox Cloud also listed for the console version. Audio output was confirmed as stereo during demo testing.

Genres and user tags

The formal genre tags are Adventure, Casual, Indie, Racing, Simulation and Sports. That is a wide spread for a driving game, and it reflects the exploration and atmosphere side of the project as much as the driving.

The user tags are more revealing: driving, co-op, multiplayer, adventure, off-road, racing, open world, racing, relaxing, minimalism, exploration, singleplayer, atmospheric, nature, simulation, casual, automobile sim, controller support and online co-op. Off-road and open world sit at the centre of that list, alongside relaxing and minimalism.

There is some redundancy between the two, with racing and simulation appearing in both. The tag set also overlaps with the demo coverage, where preview writers compared the game to SnowRunner, Jusant, Cairn and Death Stranding, and GismoLand described it as an anti-Forza Horizon.

Media reviews quoted on the store page

The store page quotes three publications. These are the official page's citations of external reviews, not scores from this page.

Over the hill lands closer to real love of the wheel: Funselektor understands it in a way that an awful lot of studios miss. — PC Gamer

... minimalist and chill to the point of mindfulness. — Polygon

Virtual Off-Roading That Will Lower Your Blood Pressure. — The Drive

All three lean the same direction. The game is being positioned as a slower, quieter take on off-road driving, and the store page's own tagline says the same thing: this is a driving game, not a racing game.

Wishlist position and what it means

The Steam page sits at the centre of a strong pre-launch campaign. Wishlists passed 200,000 with the first trailer in April 2025, one million by April 2026 alongside the Algeria trailer and the closed playtest, and about 1.2 million after the June Next Fest demo.

SteamDB data cited by GamingOnLinux put that at roughly 21st on Steam's all-time most-wishlisted chart. More than 500,000 players tried the free demo, which scored 81% positive across nearly 2,000 reviews.

Nothing is purchasable yet, so no reviews are attached to the store page itself. The demo's Very Positive rating is the closest thing to a reception signal, and the wishlist count is the clearest indicator of launch-day interest.

Where else the PC version is sold

Steam is the primary PC storefront, but not the only one. PCGamingWiki tracks Green Man Gaming and the Humble Store as key retailers for the title, alongside the Steam listing and Microsoft Store.

Microsoft Store carries product ID 9pmdqwhs0dc2, and Xbox Play Anywhere also appears among the tracked retailers. The PlayStation Store entry uses concept ID 10017187, and the Nintendo eShop is listed as Coming soon.

Physical editions are confirmed for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 through Serenity Forge, in a Collector's Edition and a Premium Standard Edition. No physical Xbox edition is announced, and preorders were expected to open around the console release date announcement.

Regions, language and classification

Launch regions for the PC build are Canada and Algeria. More regions, free updates and paid DLC are all planned for after launch. The page carries 16 interface languages, including Simplified Chinese, English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Ukrainian, Dutch, Traditional Chinese and Turkish.

The content rating notice states the game includes interactive elements, specifically in-game chat and online interaction. That follows from the co-op focus rather than from anything unusual in the design.

Minimum system requirements are Windows 10, a 64-bit processor and OS, an Intel Core i5-7400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600, 8 GB RAM, and an Nvidia GTX 1070 or AMD Vega-56, with some language pages listing an AMD Radeon RX 5600 instead. Storage is listed as 4 GB on most pages and 2 GB on the Portuguese page. Recommended specifications name no specific hardware.
